The Scoop on Love Yours - 09 March

Why did you call this event “Love Yours”?

Well, we were celebrating the month of love after all, but it was actually derived from the JCole song titled, Love Yourz.

We are very intentional with our events and the message we want to communicate. Love yours, is about loving who and what you are and being grateful for it. It’s about appreciating your life and the people in it.

Whether you have already found love or just lost it, we wanted to bring people together to Pret and Skep!

Comparison is the greatest thief of Joy. It wasn’t until we set to achieve our goals at our own pace that we really started to love our lives. This is what we wanted to celebrate and share with our guests.

What can we expect on the day of the event?

A day in nature at our beautiful venue, where one can network with other humans and let off a bit of steam. Hartenberg Wine Estate will welcome you to their beautiful picnic area where you can enjoy their wine paired with creatively plated charcuterie and cheese boards.

The main event will include a painting session facilitated by “Skep” (Eike) who selected the “colours of love” colour palette for the day. You will be provided with all the necessary materials to help you create a piece from the heart.

To keep the conversation going around the table, we have included love trivia cards and speed dating Q’s for the single to mingles. The vibe will be set by “Pret” (Carryn) who will bring all of the fun!
